Researching your Antiques and Collectibles

We often receive e-mails from customers requesting valuations and or information about their collectibles and antiques. Please note: WE DO NOT GIVE APPRAISALS. And, due to the dangers associated with email viruses, our email system automatically deletes email attachments, therefore, we are not even able to view attached photos. Our time is quite limited and we regret that we cannot answer each email request individually. We DO, however, want to at least furnish you with information that may prove to be of valuable assistance to you should you need an appraisal:

If you are in need of a professional appraisal, we recommend that you visit an appraiser in your area who can examine your item in person. This will ensure the most accurate appraisal. (Most telephone books list certified appraisers.) Additionally, general information on the appraisal process can be found at The American Society of Appraisers website.
