Lladro, the premier porcelain figurine from Spain, has grown to become one of the true porcelain figurine collectibles in today's market. Beginning in 1951, the Lladro brothers, Juan, Jose and Vincente, began what would become an institution in producing fine porcelain. Still run by the Lladro family, the collection continues to grow as do its collectors. These are lovely figurines depicting men, women, children, and animals, both singularly and in groupings of fanciful, playful scenic interpretations. The high gloss glaze of the porcelain is accented with muted pastel color shadings.
